ATTORNEY AT LAW

Josh has over 30 years of experience in medical malpractice, wrongful death, and personal injury cases. He spent 7 years as a critical care respiratory therapist and has extensive medical knowledge which gives him an edge over other attorneys who have to learn the medicine. In a malpractice case only 25% of cases have a successful outcome. Josh’s successful outcome is approximately 95%. He has written a chapter in an OB textbook and has successfully pursued birth injury cases and cerebral palsy cases nationally. He was also on the executive committee of the birth trauma litigation group in the American Trial Lawyers Association now referred to as AAJ.

As the Senior Litigation Paralegal at J. Tolin Law since its inception, Cara takes pride in being a key point of contact for the office. A Paralegal with over 20 years experience, Cara’s strong organizational skills, efficiency, and eye for detail are essential with every aspect from the development to the resolution of our cases. Her work ethic has played a tremendous role in assisting our clients in obtaining the compensation they deserve as a result of their injuries. Cara wears many hats in our office—she also serves as our bookkeeper and office manager.

A native of St. Louis, Cara earned her BA in History and English from the University of Kansas and is a certified paralegal. Outside the office, she enjoys gardening, cooking, comedies, Star Wars and Monty Python. She lives in St. Louis County with her husband and three children.
